When I was coming up I did not have it rough. I do not blame my cultural background let alone inheritance of my own faults; that is if life had been rough along the way! "We the PEOPLE" tend to always blame where or how we were raised for our on course of actions, not realizing that it's the way we choose to live. Why not take the blame for ourselves. Why does our upbringing always get the finger or fingers pointed at? Is it because we fall short and make our own decisions? We are all PEOPLE no matter what color our skin is! When are we going to realize that? When will "We the PEOPLE" look in the mirrors and not see the color of our skin, but beyond that... When will we look at ourselves as a person? Why must we try and amount to others way of living? Why must we make our way of living suitable to what others opinions are? Why can't we just be ourselves? Not black, nor white, or whatever you consider yourself to be, but as the person you see underneath your skin!
Everyone is not the same just because in most cases, their demeanors or mentality may be similar. Why must race or cultural background come into play with this? I'm tired of people always using that as an excuse! It's time we go skin deep and look at the person within. It's all about what you as a person implant in your mind and let manifest. We as individuals are responsible for our own actions, and its up to us, as individuals, to control what others perceive as wrong or disorderly to live it. When I say wrong or disorderly, I mean the way that we walk, talk, dress, or even think. Yes we were raised by our parents/ guardians to live a certain way, but once leaving the nest you retain new information and tie it in with what you already know; So stop blaming your parents or surroundings for your actions. You choose to be the person that you are. YOU KNOW WHATS BEST FOR YOU! Yes you look to others for advice, but you are smart enough to know what's wrong or right. There is laws we have to abide by not just man laws, but spiritual as well. We are aware that if we disobey those laws that their is consequences we must deal with after our ACTIONS! Stop with the blaming others for what you do as an individual and start standing up for yourself. Everyone has a way of living and it does not have to be solely based on cultural background. We grow older to grow wiser and if you are one who is growing older and not retaining knowledge, then you have no one else to blame, but yourself. The problem is skin deep... YOU the person living underneath the color. Who cares about what others think of you and your way of living? Its an issue when its tied to race! Its either be yourself or live the way others want you to live, which is a lie! I for one will live my life for me... WHAT ABOUT YOU?
